Models of language variation and change: the Reggio Emilia database

The first year of the research project (June 2020 - May 2021) has been entirely devoted to data collection, especially from Romance dialects.

We performed a comparative analysis of the variation observable in the nominal domain, based on the parameter system and on (a slightly updated version of) the questionnaire described in Crisma et al (2020). Some refinement has been required in order for these tools to be adapted to microcomparative analysis.
