Luca Bortolussi

Luca Bortolussi is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Trieste. He was formerly guest professor of modelling and simulation at Saarland University and honorary fellow at the University of Edinburgh. His research interests are in the area of machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence, with applications in areas such as computational biology and medicine, cyber-physical systems, and computational linguistics. At the University of Trieste, he is coordinator of the Master program in Data Science and Scientific Computing, of the bachelor in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, and deputy coordinator of the PhD program in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
